Company research is a critical part of your preparation for a networking event, like Meet the Firms, and any interview. Not only will it help you answer interview questions or prepare questions for the interviewer, but it will also help you find out whether or not the company, and its culture, will be a good fit for you.

Be sure to take some time, in advance, to research as much information you can about the company, including the specific positions you are interested in or that are available. Spend time, as well, looking into your professional network to see who you might know at the company who could be able to give you a competitive advantage over other candidates.
